On the move... (Summer update)

It has been forever so here are pictures and little updates with each. If you would like to see Myrtle Beach pictures... I can't pick from all of them so just go to this website. I think it should work. It's my sister-in-laws Picasa album from Myrtle Beach.

Kaylee is doing all kinds of new things just as of the past few days even! It's crazy how quickly she picks up things! By the way these pictures are totally backward as far as the order of when they happened so just bare with me!

As of Friday Kaylee can crawl forwards instead of just scooting backward. She is already getting into things. It was just like all of a sudden she could sit herself up from lying on her back and then get herself in crawling position. She still isn't super fast but I am sure it is only a matter of time. She also is starting to pull herself up on things. She doesn't stand up completely but she will bend over holding onto things.
This weekend Josh was doing a seminar down in Philly so we went and stayed at his parents for the weekend. We had a great time hanging out with Grammy and Granddad. We got to see cousin Nolan, Mia and Aunt Nay-nay for a little too, although we don't have any pictures to show for it. :(
Today (Sunday) we got to spend some good time in the pool. Kaylee absolutely looooves the water. We found that out at Myrtle Beach and she continues to enjoy splashing, kicking her feet and just floating around.

Crawling in the water to her toys.

Getting into crawling position to get her toys.

Sneaky look.

I love this picture of Kaylee on the diving board.

Going down the slide with a little help from mommy. She has started saying "mama" as of last Sunday. I looove it although I don't think she knows that's my name yet. She seems to be understanding that "dada" is Josh's name though. She says it when she sees him now.

Cheeeese!

This is so funny! It totally looks like she is posing! haha!

Kaylee and daddy in the pool.

Mommy and Kaylee eating their cups.

I stole this picture idea from my sister. I just loved how it looked!

Kaylee riding the waves while standing on my belly.

Kay-bird diving in!

Kaylee's first bike ride. She liked pushing the buttons on this rocket bike! I also enjoyed a bike ride of my own. Mom and dad K got a little bike at a garage sale that I loooove! I might have to get myself one! I kept riding it around the house while I was there. It's just like a regular bike only with smaller wheels and they are much much closer together. You have to have extra good balance to stay on the thing but it is super fun once you get going! This might make it on my Christmas list this year. Josh and I joked about getting two of these mini bikes and hooking up a trailer behind them both to take Kaylee on bike rides. Haha! Mom said, "It would make the papers" That's for sure! Maybe in the looney tunes section!

Ready to jump in!

Daddy and Bird!

Cutesy smile!

Kaylee's new best friend is a Cookie Monster stuffed animal that Josh got me when we were in college and he worked at Sesame Place. She instantly loved it and just kept hugging it.

Another new toy is Kaylee's giant pink bouncy ball. She enjoys playing with this and watching daddy play with it sometimes too! The story behind this is that Josh and I were at Target and he was looking at some potential birthday gifts for him and I happened to notice one of those giant bins with balls on the end of an isle. I saw this pink one and just knew I had to get it for Kaylee! The only problem is that there were only two pink ones. One was at the very top which was a good 2-3 feet above my head and the other was jammed into the center of the bin with all the other rubbery balls trapping it in there. So I first attempt the one up high thinking that somehow my midget legs could get me jumping up high enough to hit it over the top. After about 5-10 tries and probably some really good entertainment for anyone watching, I decided I had failed and should go for the other trapped beautiful giant pink ball.
So I really had to pull and pull before finally I got that puppy out! I mean I had my whole body weight into the yanking of that thing! Then Josh came walking up the isle toward me while I was struggling to pull this thing out and after I finally got it out he said, "You aren't really getting that for her are you?" There was no way I was letting him talk me out of getting that $2.99 ball after the struggle I went through to get it. Noooo way! Thank goodness she likes that big ole thing!

This picture is sooooo funny. She kept putting her head on the ball! Haha! I guess she is practicing her headers!

Here is Kaylee's new cowgirl hat! She's a rodeo princess!

Opps! Here she is on the bike again!

One of Kaylee's Father's Day gifts! It was also Josh's 26th birthday so he got double gifts!

All the Fathers!

I don't know if you can tell but it's Kaylee's head on the superman! Haha! so silly and he probably will never wear it again but it was great for the day!

Pa and Kenny! I thought this picture was cute!

Pa holding Kaylee on Father's Day!

Kaylee's first family reunion was the Zeager reunion. Afterward we went to one of Kenny's baseball games! Here is Aunt Jan holding Kaylee at the game!

Here is Kaylee clapping. She is clapping now and has been for a few weeks. Some times she will try to say "yay" and it usually comes out as "aaay".

Daddy's first Father's Day card (jumping back now).

Kaylee reading her card to daddy.

Kaylee tired from reading the card.

Josh and I left Kaylee overnight for the first time so far when we went up to Long Island for my friend Kat's wedding! It was an amazing wedding!
Josh and me recreating the paparazzi photo shoot on America's Next Top Model. (p.s. I don't know why this writing is underlined... anyone know?)
