Here I am with little bird and our crazy doggy Jordan. He just loves his baby sister so much which we are so thankful for since sometimes dogs can be weird about new babies. Everyone keeps asking how he is doing and he is doing great. He just wants to sniff and lick Kaylee all the time which I'm not too fond of. Josh has grown up with dogs all his life but I didn't have a dog before Jordan since I was like 3 years old and she was never indoors. So, I'm not even big on dogs licking MY face let alone Kaylee's so I am trying to train Jordan not to lick. If you have met Jordan you know that this is quite a task. I think it was my sister-in-law, Jenn, who suggested we change his name to "Licker". Haha!
Other news about Jordan is that he will be turning 2 on January 29th. He shares the same birthday as his granddad Kovalik. We are not sure if we will be having another birthday celebration for him or not. We will keep you posted. Haha! Last year when we had his birthday I can remember that both sides of our family thought it was so outlandish that we would be having everyone over for his birthday that they suspected we were announcing we were pregnant. We were like, "No way! We aren't pregnant!" but little did we know I was indeed pregnant at the time!
Kaylee is doing great! She officially turned 3 months old yesterday (the 18th). A happy birthday shout-out to our niece Mia who turned 2 months old at the same time! They are just one month apart! I just think that is so neat how it worked out like that! It will be fun to watch them play and grow up together being so close in age. Also, we have a nephew that will be arriving in March which we are so excited about! We are looking forward to meeting him and hearing what his name will be.
Kaylee has been "talking" so much more now and is starting to laugh in her own little way. No giggles yet but it's more of a loud sucking in air sound. She is smiling a ton which just makes us smile too.
Kaylee has had a little cold these past few days and we are keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't turn into RSV or Pneumonia. We just feel so terrible because we keep sucking and sucking those little boogies out but she just seems to still be clogged up.(with the nose sucker... if you want to hear a yukky story about this from one of my children's grandmothers...let me know! I've got a good one!) She is in good spirits though and it doesn't seem to bother her too much. Those darn daycare bugs are so annoying!
She is doing great at daycare. For those of you who don't know I work at the Child Development Center on a military base in New Cumberland. It is probably the best job for a working mom because I have Kaylee there just two doors down from me. It is so wonderful because I can take my lunch and breaks to visit with her and also feed her. This past week I had parent-teacher conferences all week for my classroom so I wasn't able to visit with Kaylee as much as I usually do. That was hard for me but today it's just her and me around the house as Josh heads off to our friend's Bachelor party thinger in Baltimore. So it's ladies night for Kaylee and me tonight. Yaaay! We are going to do each other's nails, hair, maybe have a pillow fight... hahaha!
Well that is all for now! Stay tuned for pictures from last nights basketball game and to hear how she responded to the loud noises of screaming fans and loud buzzers at her first real sporting event!

What a cute mommy and daughter! I love how you're holding down Jordan, a.k.a "licker" like, "you will take this picture with us and you'll like it!" hehe :)
love the little jeans and boots!
