Okay. Not much time to write as I have to get supper ready for us! But I just wanted to add a more recent picture of Kaylee and give a quicky update on her!
I know that Josh had already written about her 2 month appointment and she his now nearly 3 months but I wanted to tell about her rolling over. I guess you can't really count it since she was on her belly, but when the doctor had put her on her belly to check her neck muscle strength we all were amazed when Kaylee rolled over onto her back, flew her hands up in the air and started crying because she was scared. It was a surprise to all of us but mostly to Kaylee.
Kaylee is getting bigger and bigger! Josh says she is going to be a middle blocker for volleyball. I just think she will need a longer kilt for field hockey.
She is a total mama's girl right now and always wants me to be the one holding her. And, as I understand it, I should be grateful for these times because soon (when she gets older) her daddy will become the favorite.
Kaylee is starting to coo a ton. Also, those late nights when she is fussy and just doesn't want to be sleeping I will go over to her and the moment I peek over the side of her crib she stops crying and just gives me a huge smile. It is seriously the best feeling ever. However, those times are becoming fewer now since Kaylee is really starting to sleep a lot better. She has slept through the night a few times. It's great to be able to sleep but there are some nights when I do actually miss getting up to her. Kind of weird but I do. I just love this "little bird" (bird, birdy or little birdy-as we've come to call her) to death.
Well, Kaylee needs some attention and I must get to that supper I was talking about.
