Dah-da-da-daaaaaa!!!

We have a few big things to announce from today...

First: Josh received a call from the job in Lancaster and THEY WANT HIM!!! Yaaay! We are just waiting to hear what the benefits package will be (salary and such). This is a huuuuuuuge answer to prayer. We seriously have been praying constantly that God will provide and we knew he would!!! GOD ROCKS!!!

Second: Tonight we had a family bath night. This just means that both Josh and I take Kaylee upstairs for a bath. Kaylee climbed up the stairs and said "bath" the whole way. Then when we got to the top she went into the bathroom but I had to take her to her room to get her out of her clothes while Josh drew the bath. She screamed crying the whole time because she was so excited to get into the bath. Then finally I got her into the bathroom and she was happy.

Before we put Kaylee in the tub we sit her on her Princess Potty (the one that plays music when you go potty) just to start introducing her. Like I said before we are not trying to potty train her just yet, we are just talking about the potty and showing her how fun potties can be! hehe.
Tonight she sat on it and then I sat on my big girl potty to show her what we do. I told her to go potty, totally not expecting her to do anything. Next thing we knew we heard trumpet music- "Dah-da-da-daaaaa!" I look up at Josh and he looks down at me and we have our mouths hanging open, my eyes are watering and Josh says, "Did she just pee?" I pulled her off of her potty and looked and sure enough our little princess peed in her potty for the very first time!!! We were in shock. We cheered and praised her like crazy and I am sure she had no idea what she just did but she scrunched up her little nose and laughed. I think she was more happy that I had put her in the tub than anything else.

So this has been a fun day! Work was tough but I had two really great things happen to me today my lover got a job (sort of) and my little baby peed in her potty (by accident)! Haha. Seriously though, I had been so stressed about this whole job thing with Josh but the Lord is good and he provided!!! Yay for Jesus!

Thank you all so so much for your prayers and we are just asking that you continue to pray for all the details to come with this job (salary, selling our house-yikes!, etc.). We should know more by Friday! We will try to keep you all posted.

Oh and one more funny story from today (at least I think it is funny). I always love getting free things that people are giving away and this is a story about that...
So today my one knee has been really dry and it has been bugging me. Then at work I was walking through the office and noticed this lotion called Cetaphil. This is supposed to be some really awesome lotion for dry skin/eczema. Well I asked the secretary who it belonged to and if I could have just a little for my knee. So she told me it had been a child's but they don't need it anymore or something so she said I could have it. I was like YEEESSS! because that stuff is expensive I hear. So I decided that I needed to put some on right then and there and so I put a little on my knee and then I saw how dry my shin was and put it on that shin and then the other knee and shin. The consistency seemed weird but it worked.

When I got back to my room I showed Sveta my great find and told her all about how expensive the lotion is and how great it is supposed to be and Sveta said she had heard of it but she said that the bottle I was holding was a different bottle. She said that I was holding the soap bottle. OHHHHH my goodness. I laughed so hard. The weird consistency lotion had actually been soap. So I apparently lathered on soap to my very dry legs. Hahaha! How funny! I wondered why it was all white and lathery like. Haha I expect a shower full of bubbles when I wash this stuff off!

Well, that's all for tonight! Hope everyone is doing well. Please share any fun stories like putting soap on instead of lotion!!! I enjoy a good laugh!!!

It was so nice to meet you guys last weekend! Congrats to Josh on the job...I'm sure it's been VERY stressful waiting. How cute that Kaylee peed!!! She is so adorable!

I don't think my story is super funny, but I'll share any way! When I first started at where I work now, I didn't know that they had lotion and soap dispensers both by the sinks so I think I used the lotion a few times on accident...all the while thinking, "Wow, they have strange soap here!"
