Now the layman might just sit back and say "No Talent" or "No Holiday-Spirit". My response to these nay-sayers, "O ye of no vision! No creativity!" Sure, technically we lost the competition to the girls. But just ponder this - if people like Ford, Edison, and Einstein stopped because of a simple technicality, where would we be today? I'll tell you, on a horse, in the dark, with no real understanding of the Theory of Relativity! Not really sure where I was going with this, but I think you get the point. Oh yeah, for you "traditionalists", here is the "winning" creation...

Now I'm sure you're reading this and saying to yourself: Josh, this is all fine and dandy, but what is new with your baby?! I mean how ever did her 2-month appointment go?? I'm dying to know! To those 1 or 2 of you that were thinking this, I will not keep you waiting! The short answer is it went very well! We found out that we are apparently raising a future middle hitter for volleyball! At 24", she is in the 95 percentile for her age! Other stats: 12 lbs. 3 oz. (75 percentile) and a proportionately-sized head. Kaylee also had the privilege of enduring 3 vaccinations which, I must say, she handled like a seasoned veteran! As Kendy always does, I will let her to fill in some of the missing maternal-viewpoint highlights from this experience in a later post - including one of Kaylee's firsts that occurred at the appointment!
Here is a photo we took of our "little bird" the other day. The cuter she gets, the more I'm convinced she's probably not mine (kidding of course!). She is always good for a smile and a "coo" these days, and it just makes my heart melt! Even at 1 in the morning...

thanks for the update josh, however, i was confused with your comparision to Eistein and the theory of relativity. I have never heard of Eistein so I'm not sure what you're trying to state here.
There was this guy named EiNstein who not only came up with the theory of relativity, but also the theory of "special" relativity and not to mention the theory of relating how mass at certain speeds can translate to energy (e=mc^2).

NOTICE, I will continue to give you grief for mispelling names of world renouned scientists in future posts.
what a cute little birdy!! :)
love the gingerbread houses! you guys are so talented... you should start a family tradition as Kaylee gets older!
Hi Josh and Kendy - thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hello. I saw the link to yours (actually on Jenn's blog) and enjoyed the pictures of Kaylee. Those are some crazy gingerbread houses - I have to admit I'm partial to the pirate ship, sorry ladies!
Merry Christmas!
