Here I am holding my big pink marshmallow, Kaylee! We had to head out to pick up mommy's car from inspection and since we were in daddy's car there was no Snugglie already in the car seat so we bundled Kaylee up in this giant pink "thing" from my crazy Russian assistant teacher, Sveta. If you haven't heard any stories about her yet just ask. I could go on forever about that crazy Russian! Haha!
Josh decided it was time to take some more pictures of Kaylee so he just started taking random shots of Kaylee. I like her funny face in this picture.
Right now she is in love with her hands. Since about two or three days before she turned 3 months she has been chewing and sucking on her hands non-stop. She's a little slobber box these days. She has gaged herself a few times from putting her fingers in too far. She also is really grabbing at things a lot. She holds toys a little and loves to pull on her pacifier clip as she is doing in the picture above. My hair is a hot item for her also. When she is in a "mood" she will grab my hair and pull it while making her body as stiff and straight as a board. Luckily I grew up having two sisters so I have grown used to the pain of hair pulling (just kidding...sort of... haha!)
I am still loving being a mommy and I think Josh is loving it more and more. It was so funny on Sunday night when Kaylee was having a rough time going to sleep. Josh was in her room helping me out. I was standing holding Kaylee in a position so that she could see everything around her but her eyes were fixed on Josh. Josh, not realizing that Kaylee's calm state was due to him being in her line of vision, walked across the hall to Kaylee's bathroom. The second Josh went out of Kaylee's sight she began to scream crying. So I quickly moved so that she could see him in the bathroom and she immediately stopped. It was soooo funny! She is totally falling in love more and more with Josh these days. She loves just staring at him and following him around the room with her eyes. She practically breaks her neck looking for him when he leaves a room. It is so fun to see this! We can't wait to see what she does next!
