It's a Sign!

Despite Josh's running on the treadmill almost every day and my final return to pre-pregnancy weight (which I totally owe to nursing and Kaylee's eczema not allowing me to eat pizza or ice cream) , we received what Josh thought to be a sign the other day in the car. We were on our way to the mall listening to the radio. Usually like with TV we turn the channels when commercials come on but for some reason we left this channel on during that time. Suddenly, we heard a woman's voice, "Hi this is Kendy." Josh says, "Huh! Kendy!" Then a male voice, "And this is Josh!" I say, "Huh! Josh!" We were shocked but as we continued to listen the sign was revealed... They said, "And we are from 'such and such fitness center' (no clue where they really said). Do you need to get back into shape..." they continued talking about various things about working out. Josh said, "It's a sign. We need to work out more!" We both laughed knowing that it may very well have been a real sign. Haha! We definitely could use some toning! I especially could. Luckily, at our new church there is women's floor hockey every Thursday night so I can gradually get back into running condition. As most of you know I absolutely LOVE hockey so this has been such an awesome bonus with our new church. God and hockey, what else could I have asked for? Haha!

Speaking of church, I'm not sure if everyone knows or not but we have been church shopping and I think we have found the church that we have been looking for. We are now attending Westshore Evangelical Free Church. Their sermons seem to be more biblically based which is what we desired. We have liked it thus far and will continue to attend there now that we are brave enough to venture out to church with Kaylee. It's probably something we should have done a long time ago but I didn't want to put Kaylee in the church nursery yet and I didn't want to be "that couple" that has their screaming child in the service distracting everyone from the message. We were "that couple" at Applebee's the other night which caused us to box up my supper and Josh's dessert and head out a little sooner than expected. So by the time we got home and got Kaylee down for the night I had a wonderfully cold 10:30pm supper. mmm! Nothing like some cold chicken breast and french fries. Haha!

Right now Kaylee has a cold which scares me because last night she was coughing so much and actually she started to gag/choke so we had her sleep in the bassinet next to us last night. It was a little bit of a rough night. I had a hard time sleeping because, like when she was first born, I was afraid she would stop breathing from choking. Fortunately she is getting really good at the coughing thing. We hope this will pass soon and she will return to being "yukkers" free. "Yukkers" is the term we substitute for the not so attractive word "mucus". Haha! I should start a Kendy's Baby dictionary on here so that when needed you could consult that for the definitions of my made up words.

Here are some very recent pictures of Kaylee and us. We just love that little honeyhead kid! She is "talking" more and more and really starting to drool which makes me wonder if she is going to be getting teeth any time soon. She chews on everything as well, which is another sign but who knows. I have been feeling for teeth but there is nothing yet.
*hanging out with daddy in her diaper (she looooves being naked... hopefully she will grow out of that relatively soon)
*Gazing into her daddy's eyes... she loves him sooo much!
*Kaylee loves looking in the mirror at herself. We couldn't catch her smiling at herself but she just loves the mirror.

*Here is one of my new favorite pictures of Kaylee. Look at those cheekers! Haha! I just want to kiss 'em, kiss 'em, kiss 'em!!! haha

*Here is Kaylee playing with her daddy. Brother Jordan is trying to "butt" in on their time together.

So long for now!

Hey Kendy and Josh! I've been thinking about you guys... hope everything is going well. We'll need to chat again soon. Love the pics of Kaylee! Hope she's feeling better. Pretty soon, you'll be an ol' pro at the colds... they definitely are not fun though.
That is too weird about the Josh and Kendy on the radio! Floor hockey sounds fun and glad you're enjoying your church. Jordon looks very fashionable in his pink shirt - haha! :)
love you both!
