Well, it was Kaylee's longest trip yet in the car and she did a great job, sleeping the whole way there. It was her bed time anyway so I guess that's kind of cheating. But it was still good practice for when we will be driving the whole way down to Myrtle Beach in the end of May. That could be interesting!
Anyway...
We had a great time visiting at Josh's sister Jenn and brother-in-law Marlon's place down in West Virginia this past weekend. It was nice to sit back and relax, meet our new nephew Kellan and play with crazy Alex.
Playing with Alex was a nice taste of what is to come with Kaylee. We can't wait to be able to play with her the way we did with Alex this weekend. One of my favorite things while down there was pushing Alex on her swing and coming up with silly things to say and do like throw a ball for her to catch and take off her shoes and try to put them back on while she was swinging. It was a good time. She was so funny when the neighbor apparently got hot and took off his shirt she kept asking where his shirt went. She at one point insisted on going back inside (this may be the one thing that can tear her away from her beloved swing) to get her sunglasses and hat. She said, "I need my sunglasses and a hat. It's sunny." She is talking so well and is a blast to converse with. You never know how she might respond. She surprised me with some of the things she knew. She's one smart little cookie!
So anyway... here are a few pictures that we took with Jenn's camera while down there... Sorry they are out of order... Enjoy anyway!
P. S. Kaylee is getting really good at sitting up now. Come visit to see her mad skills!

Kaylee tuckered out from playing with her cousin's Alex and Kellan. This picture really reminds me of her 3D ultrasound picture. Such a long time ago it seems!

Kaylee was so jealous of Kellan's gorgeous locks of hair! I think she is trying to pull some out for herself!

Little man!

My first kisses from Kaylee. She had her mouth open on my cheek and pulled me in by my earrings for a smooch. She was making silly sounds while doing this too! So funny!
Cousins!!!Check out the head size difference! I used to have a friend in high school who had a big head and we always called him "B.H." for short. I think Kaylee could give him a good run for his money with that noggin' of hers! haha!

Alex was hiding behind Kaylee using her feet to play with Kaylee's feet, while Kaylee enjoyed jumping away in the Jump-a-roo.

Alex and Uncle Josh. She loves her Uncle Josh. She would jump on him and just climb all over him! His name should be Gym. Haha!
Here is my crazy hairdo that I did on Alex. I was trying to teach her how to spell out "glamorous" like the Fergie song. But I only was able to get her to sing "Glamorous, glamorous!" while doing a silly dance move I showed her. Haha!
This is my favorite picture from the weekend. Alex crowned Kaylee and said, "Your wish is my command" then bowed. Haha! Kaylee looooooved it!
What a fun time we had! We can't wait for all the fun and, I'm sure, crazy times to come down in Myrtle Beach with the entire Kovalik clan. A granddad, grammy, two uncles, two aunts, Josh, me one 7 1/2 month old, one 6 1/2 month old, one 1o week old, one 2-year-old and one 3-year-old. Stay tuned for a ton more pictures and fun stories!
