My sister-in-law Renee tagged me to do this. I have to think here a little but I will try to come up with some things that not everyone knows.
1. Although I know it is unlikely to happen and a lot of work, I would love to move into an old farm house and fix it up real cool and modern in the inside. Those houses have so much cool architectural detail like with the woodwork and everything. I would, with my millions of dollars that I have saved up, renovate the barn/s to have parties and play areas for kids. My dream is to have a nice low back porch with an arbor over head with outdoor curtains hanging down from it with couches under. Hehe (big dreams)
2. I used to be a powerlifter in high school. I used to compete in bench press, squat and dead lift. Dead lift was my favorite. I had to quit because of a shoulder injury that I later received physical therapy for.
3. My dream job is to stay home with my kids and do fun activities with them throughout the day. We would get together with our cousins and have play dates with friends too. Then once they are in school I would go back to substitute teaching which is my favorite paid job.
4. I have at least twice, that I can recall, assisted with the birth of calves. Once with gloves, once without. It was quite amazing to be a part of.
5. I once lived with a 30 year old crackhead in the ghetto of North Philly whose parents also lived there and beat their two adopted children with the end of an extension cord for accidentally breaking open a bag of flour. This was part of my Messiah College curriculum. I decided I wanted to do an African American Cross Cultural instead of taking another language credit and I was assigned to this family in the ghetto. Two days before I arrived my next door neighbor got out of jail and shot and killed someone on my street. There were many other dangers I encountered while living with these folks. If you ever want to hear the whole story just ask. I remember it very well since it was my closest encounter with death.
6. I am a huge jokester and very sarcastic. I enjoy telling goofy stories, dressing up silly and acting totally wild in public. I miss my old college roomies Meeshy and Jamie who would act like total goofballs with me! Once we dressed up in clothing of every pattern-tiedied, polka dotted, solid, flannel, stripes, etc.-every size and about every piece of jewelry and truckerhats possible. Oh yeah and we had 80's makeup on too. We then went out driving to Sheets for food then to Walmart just to make a scene late one night. At Walmart one cashier asked if we were being initiated into a sorority. One of my other friends Keri and I used to tell people we were twins, fraternal twins. We are like exact opposites. She is real tall, thin and blonde and I am quite short, normal size-ish and had black hair. Haha... good times. I like to dress up and play pretend! I can't wait until Kaylee gets into Barbies and playing House so that I can be silly again and play different roles.
7. I get very nervous in front of big crowds. I may be loud and crazy at times but I can't stand to walk in front of a big crowd. I am afraid people are staring at me. I am sure there is some technical term for this fear of large crowds watching me. I was so nervous at my wedding not nervous about marrying but about people watching me but once I saw that stud I felt so much better! It is strange however that I have always enjoyed doing presentations in school and subsitute teaching since both involve large crowds watching me and only me!
So there are some interesting facts about myself now I must pick some friends to send this to but I only have a few with blogs so here they are: Jess, Hilary, Timmy, Deb and The Halls. I can't wait to read everyone's answers!
Have a great day!
Kendy
I leave you with the pictures below of me being me...
Above is me in my dress up clothes and PJ's at Christmas. I love that silver-ish, pink-ish belt. One year I came out in a red dress with a pillow in it with a belt holding in the pillow and a beard I made out of paper, taped to my face. I of course was trying to look like Santa.
Below is my sister Karie and me doing a "Got Milk" photo shoot. We dressed up in gowns and took silly pictures of each other with Noxzema as our milk mustache.
Below-One time Josh and I were playing Phase 10 and whoever won each round was allowed to use my eyeliner to draw something on the other person's face. Haha. We turned out looking great. This was one of my favorite silly times with Josh.

Above is from Myrtle Beach when Josh and I were mini golfing. We kept taking dumb pictures of each other. Josh is sleeping or I would get his permission to post some of him.
