LIFE!

Okay... it's late and I hope that I don't come off as some crazy angry person but I just checked out this video on my friend's blog and I am fuming right now because I am totally Pro-Life.

Just a few weeks ago I learned of several people I know that have had abortions and it just saddened me. So anyway... I need to not write anymore just watch these little clips. Josh said that he didn't realize that I was so into politics but this is not "politics" this is human life. It's straight up murder! Rrrrrrr... I DO NOT like this Obama guy! Not Nice! Plus I had a bad dream about him becoming president. He turned out to be friends with all the foreign leaders and he gave us away to them to destroy us. I keep saying that I have a bad feeling about him. I do. There is something in me that says he is not a good man.

I agree! It just totally baffled me that he couldn't even answer half of those questions with a solid answer. "To answer that question with specificity is above my pay grade." REALLY?! Seems like you'll need to answer to much tougher question than that if you're President!

Good post Kendy. I had to chuckle at a mention of another one of your vivid dreams! (although I know this subject is in no way a laughing matter). Thanks for helping spread the word!

Hey Kendy! I agree too - abortion is a terrible, terrible thing and I would be willing to wager that most americans would say the same. But I'm just dying for someone to tell me - we had a pro-life, conservative Christian in the white house for 8 years. What did he do to fix it? Please tell me? Christians voted life in 2000 and what did it accomplish? What will McCain OR Obama do? This is why I have such a hard time limiting my vote and dialogue about the vote to just the abortion issues when life issues extend to billions around the globe. Just my two cents. THANKS! :)

Hey Kendy... I totally agree with your views. Abortion really just makes me sad and makes me wonder what God thinks when he looks at us on earth. A while back Mandy (another blog I read, linked off my blog) posted this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYRpIf2F9NA. It's about partial birth abortion and Obama's support of it. It really just makes me sick and very, very sad...

On a different, happier note: Are you going to post photos of Kaylee's first birthday? I cant wait to see them!

Humanity, i love you said...

well said Tim. To limit your vote to one issue is very short-sighted and overlooks the limitations on politicians to actually overturn Roe v. Wade. Obama doesn't deny that abortion is terrible and sad and all of these things that everyone on this forum are saying. In that vein, however, homelessness, poverty, tens of thousands of Americans losing their homes, my parents not having adequate health care, and poor children struggling in urban schools is also "sad." Obama admits that abortion is a complex ethical/moral/policy issue and while he might personally be AGAINST it as a person of faith, he realizes he cannot legislate that morality and that it should not be up to politicians to determine the precise definition of "life" (one day? two weeks? after a heart beat? etc.) And just to clarify, he said in the debates that he was against partial birth abortion.
