The Queen of Long Posts! hehe!

Kaylee's new favorite play area is right below our TV. She likes to open the doors, take out tapes, put them back in and close the doors and do it all over again. She is one busy little bee.

Since two different people posted about their pies I thought I would also include my pie from our apple picking. I got the idea to do crumbs from Renee. Good idea. Josh loved them!

I wish you could see Kaylee's friends in this picture above. Kaylee absolutely loves playing with the kids outside. We have so many neighborhood kids now and they are ALWAYS outside. Kaylee will go over to the front door and push her forehead against the door trying to look out and see her friends. This day they were doing sidewalk chalk and our neighbor was teaching the kids how to do face painting. It was so neat and further encouraged my idea to have a block party. My neighbor could do the face painting for the kids, I could come up with some fun games and we could all cook out and just have fun hanging out.
So the big event of the Fall-Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.

There were a ton of different types of animals for Audrey and Kaylee to pet. Audrey loves to walk these days and was all over the place finding different animals to look at and pet.

Kaylee nearly leaping out of my arms to pet the sheep.

Cluck Cluck! Kaylee wanted so badly to put her fingers in here and pet the chickens but of course I was worried about her losing a finger. She got pretty mad at me but we quickly moved onto the pigs.

The Strasburg train went right past the farm. It was very loud and the girls weren't sure what to think of it so we tried to cheer loudly over the tooting to ashore them everything was okay.

This was a fun ride for all ages. We took a tour through the cornfields in a bunch of wagons pulled by a tractor. Lots of fun for the girls and us mommy's and daddy too!

Here are the girls in a mini straw maze. Audrey had fun running around through it while Kaylee mostly stood and played with the straw. A little boy kept coming up to her and petting her head. Haha! The toddler way of flirting I guess!

A neat tractor with a slide coming off the wagon on the back.

They looked like two little grandma's sitting on rockers on the front porch of this mini log cabin.

Katie and Audrey playing inside the house.

I like this picture of Kaylee and her daddy.

We were trying to get a good picture of Kaylee on the end of this wagon when she decided to lick it. Haha!

Much better!

Here I am riding a real live bull. Haha! Kidding. It's just a plastic half bull. This place was like my favorite thing ever! There was a slide too that I don' t have pictures of. Josh and Katie took the girls down. There also was a huge bouncy surface for kids, Hay ride, and cool pedal carts to drive through the corn. We all go turns on these and it was a blast.

Hey where did Kaylee and Audrey go? Get it??? They're our pumpkins!

Later we went to Kenny's soccer game. My camera wasn't working right so I didn't get any pictures of Kenny but they won by a lot and Kenny scored!!! He was awesome! Below is Kaylee with her Aunt Karie on the side lines.

This past weekend was so so much fun. It was like a little taste of what it would be like to be a stay at home mom. We got to do so many fun things with Kaylee. I took her to the park on Friday then played games with friends, Saturday we went apple picking and then to the pumpkin festival (no pictures from that). Then on Sunday we went out to eat at Denny's (We try to do this at least once a month) did a little family shopping and then relaxed at home while watching sports. Then of course on Monday we went to Cherry Crest Farm and later to Kenny's soccer game. It was the best weekend!!!
This coming weekend is sure to be eventful also. We are having Kaylee's 1st birthday party and also we will be going to the Homecoming soccer game at Messiah. Fun, fun, fun!
What fall festivities are you taking part in/have you taken part in?

Hey Kendy! Your apple pie looks great!! You'll have to send me the recipe--we have a bushel of apples right now in preparation of making applesauce. And I LOVE crumb topping!!

And also, I totally laughed out loud at the part about how Kaylee licked the wagon when you tried to take her picture! LOL

Happy Birthday to both of you! Hope you guys have a great day. I love seeing all the adorable photos of Kaylee... the one of her sitting on the back of the wagon (not licking it, though that was pretty hysterical) is beautiful! Looks like you and your sister are able to have a lot of fun with your two little ones! Thanks for the updates!

i kept meaning to comment.... nolan would have LOVED that steam train!!! it looks so cool. mia's favorite place is the entertainment center as well. She likes to push the buttons on the dvd player and turn on/off the tv. It can be very annoying to Nolan who's usually watching something at the same time! :)
